Tune into any FM STATION where Kenyans are allowed to call in and FREELY air their views. You will be shocked with the wide spread despair that Kenyans have with this govt. They are simply tired of the well tailored speeches offered by their president. They refer to them as empty rhetoric with no value addition.
Listening to Radio Jambo .. ongea usikike.. the callers clearly said they were not interested in listening to any other speech from president Uhuru like the one coming up today in parliament.
Kenyans said those speeches add no value. They cited a speech where he told them that DCI should investigate KEMSA covid billionares scandal and report back for action in 21 days. Nothing happened. They said BBI will not change things. They talked of how NHIF the national insurer has been robed dry as Uhuru makes speeches. They talked of a collapsed education system, failed war on corrupton and a failed economy.
But most important, Kenyans said their careless which tribe or region the next president will come from. They just want a person who will work on the economy, KIBAKI STYLE… with less speeches, drama and politics but with more on reviving the economy.
CONCLUSION
President Uhuru Kenyatta handlers need to tell him. Things on the ground are restless.
