PRINCIPAL NO. 16 DIES OF COVID 19 IN BUNGOMA

By Peter Amunga.

Mr. Charles Mwaria, principal Sikusi Secondary School in Bungoma county has died while undergoing Covid-19- treatment.
May the Lord Almighty take the departed Soul to his Heavenly Abode and give his family strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.

The chair of Kenya secondary school heads association Mr. Kahi indimuli told the country that 13 us on national TV that so far 13 principals had died of covid in the line of duty. My records differ with his. So far 16 have died since schools reopened and 4 had died of covid before schools reopened. Total number of dead principals is 16 since we reopened and total number 20. I have evidence.

CONCLUSION

Total number of teachers who have died of covid 19 so far is 66. That includes principals, headteachers and classroom teachers.

Are losing the battle? Should we close schools? YES WE MUST.
