By Peter Amunga.

Edwin Luchemo Aloyo Eshiwani has passed on. He is a brother to the late professor George Eshiwani. He hailed from Khwisero in Kakamega county.

According to sources, Edwin has had underlying complications. His advancing age did not help, when he fell seriously sick last week, with breathing problems, fever, loss of appetite and smell. He got admitted with covid related symptoms and put on oxygen via a ventilator. He passed on this afternoon.

Edwin is a retired career civil servant who has worked aa senior Ministry of Education officer to the level of Director of Education in Jogoo house.

His death is a big blow to Khwisero and indeed Kenya.

Once more, covid related complications have snatched another big name in Kakamega.

Rest in peace Edwin Luchemo Aloyo.
