MAY THE LATE SENATOR OF MACHAKOS REST IN PEACE. BUT WE WISH TO WARM MEDIA TO STOP ASSOCIATING THE PROFESSION CALLED TEACHING IN THE DEATH OF KABAKA*

By Peter Amunga

It has been confirmed that the late Senator of Machakos Hon Kabaka is dead. He died of complications associated with Covid 19. He collapsed four days ago when he was in a room with a female companion. At first the police and family of late suspected foul play and even held the companion in police custody. However doctors  ruled out poisoning and the lady was set free.

Our concern is; media keeps on hammering so hard in their reports the profession of the female companion who was with the late senator when he got ill. Citizen TV is notorious. Today they have reported that the senator collapsed while on a date with a teacher. It as if other ladies who date men don’t have professions. You will never know professions of people who date. Why teachers? Or is teaching is a unique profession?

RIP Senator… and for Madam Esther… we wish you well.
