It is so sad and painful as another renowned teacher, Mwalimu Situma Bukosi of Moi Girls Kamusinga has succumbs to COVID 19 related complications. Family and friends say he had a long standing comdition called SKIN CANCER.

He becomes the 68th teacher to die since schools reopened in sudden and unknown circumstances.

He was a maths teacher, a KU graduate and a Kibabii Aluminai. He was active and a regular commentator on our teacher facebook forums and on several of my whatsapp groups.

The Member of Parliament of Kimilili, Didmus Barasa announced the sad and sudden news. He wrote,

We’ve received with lots of sadness, news of the demise of Mwalimu Situma Bukosi,a teacher at Moi Girls Kamusinga. Until his death,Mr Bukosi was a dedicated teacher, keen observer of professionalism and a sharp mathematician.”

CONCLUSION

Teachers are continuing to die in this covid times. No corona testing is being done. We urge teachers with any conditions or advanced in age to keep of those covid spreadingcenters called schools.
