WE LAUGHED AS SONKO WAS IMPEACHED.. WE FORGOT HE IS PART OF UHURUTO WHOM WE ELECTED

Let us say a prayer for those suffering in hospital this morning with no services, no drugs, no doctors. Let us pray for county govt staff who have not seen money from national treasury for 4 months now.

The crisis in the health sector, covid 19 and a collapsing economy are issues that require deeper understanding and national discourse. But we chose to ignore that and ejoy the political tirades of Edwin Sifuna and Aisha Jumwa. Our media treats us to headline stories of Sonko impeached, hustler wheelbarrows, Raila visited with Mt Kenya.. and they belittle and eventually forget the bigger picture.

We hate the logic from thinkers. We forget how our leaders continue to mess with our national resources and put Kenya in a deep hole out of which it may not come soon.

We forget our role as Kenyans in making a choice of Sonko who got the highest votes only next to UhuruRuto in 2017 election.

H.E. Mudavadi asked… how did we reach here in the first place? WHY THE IMPEACHMENTS in the first place?

Truth is.. the entire Kenyan leadership needs to be impeeched. There are several Sonkos in Kenya. Some bigger than Sonko in political might, office and drama. Others who are the very fabric of the mess are dramatizing that they are not part of it. Baming the very government we elected them to serve.

Until Kenyan voters realise that their vote matters. Their choices, have consequences
.. Kenya will continue to collapse.
