MUDAVADI AT JUSTICE MUCHELULE’S MUM BURIAL IN KHWISERO.

H.E. Mudavadi today attended the burial service of the late Mama Dinah Isendi Muchelule, mother to Justice Aggrey Muchelule in Emalindi village, Khwisero Sub County. He was accompanied with Act. CJ Philemona MWILU.

Mudavadi has raised the concern as JSC embarks on the process of appointing New Chief Justice following CJ David Maraga’s retirement last month.

Mudavadi says the independence of the Judiciary is key for the stability and sustainability of the country in all sectors.

He says an independent Judiciary which is free from corruption, political interference, well-funded and upholds the virtue of integrity helps in ensuring that all other institutions and arms of government work interdependently up holding the constitution and respecting the rule of law.

This he says helps in shaping the morals of the society at large and help citizens in making wise and informed decisions both in the ballot and in other leadership spheres.

Mudavadi urged Kenyans to reflect on priorities that will help in putting in place a leadership that will be focused on reviving the economy and working for its people.

“We should avoid gambling as we have been doing and voting in corrupt and incompetent leaders who are self-centred and don’t have the plight of the people at heart.” He said.

Mudavadi was speaking during the funeral service of Mama Dinah Isendi Muchelule, Mother to High Court Judge Justice Aggrey Muchelule in Emalindi, Khwisero Constituency, Kakamega County, where he presented himself as the best choice for the country in the 2022 presidential race.

Other Leaders present include COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli who threw their weight behind Mudavadi’s 2022 Presidential bid saying it is time for the Mulembe Nation to move away from the ‘Luhya Unity’ narrative and focus on building friendship with other tribes across the country if they want to ascend to power come 2022.

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, MPs Alfred Agoi (Sabatia), Beatrice Adagala (Vihiga), Chris Wamalwa (Kiminini), Peter Kaluma (Homa Bay Town), Christopher Aseka (Khwisero), Benard Shinali (Ikolomani) and Elsie Muhanda (Kakamega) were present.

Kakamega Gov Wycliffe Oparanya also attended the Ceremony.
