Itigo Girls High School dormitory in Nandi county is on fire.

The fire started at 6.45pm. One dorm is already razed to the ground.

KISUMU BOYS dorm burnt down to ashes earlier today.

As usual pundits and skeptics will blame it on unknown arsonist or on the devil or demons.

We as teachers know what is going on. The students are passing a message. They want Magoha to review the term dates, allow them to go for half term and to enjoy co-curicular activities like games, drama and music.

More dorms, classrooms etc will continue to burn and teachers lives put in danger.. until someone at the ministry of education re-thinks the strategy of how boarding schools can work without proper funding, feeding, activities and breaks.
