Fahali wawili wapiganapo, nyasi ndizo huumia. Kenyans are paying a heavy price because of political supremacy wars of Raila and Ruto camps.
Raila visit in Githurai made hundreds of families to sleep hungry last night. Many slept in hospitals nursing injuries. Traders were forced to shut down in Githurai because of goons hired by either Raila camp or Ruto camp were sent to area. When Ruto visited, Kenol area last year in Muranga, 2 young lives were lost. Property was destroyed and many slept hungry.
In Githurai yesterday, the windscreen of a vehicle belonging to Nation Media Group that was carrying journalists covering the event was also destroyed during the Wednesday afternoon fracas.
Mr Odinga was in Githurai to popularise the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Traders at the busy Githurai roundabout were forced to close down fearing looting and destruction of their goods in anticipated confrontations between Odinga and Ruto supporters.
Earlier, hundreds of Githurai traders stormed the newly built modern market for allocation after rumours went round that a scheme had been hatched to deny a section of them space.
Led by Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura an ally of Deputy president Ruto went round the market area inciting locals about Raila. He claimed Odinga was set to tour the market on Wednesday to apportion the complete stalls to a section of traders leaving others without anywhere to sell their wares. This angered locals.
Millions of shillings were lost in Githurai. That is why we are appealing to Kenyans led by the president, to stop Ruto and Raila from using their hate politics to destroy our economy.
Leaders that teaches people to love and embrace poverty the way Raila does…. Or a leader who teaches them to hate and destroy others in order to acquire power the way Ruto is doing, proves the unfortunate situation Kenya is in. These two people and what they are doing by using their supporters to hate and to fight, using the us vs them narrative is worse than a witchcraft. It is murderer. THEY ARE MURDERING OUR ECONOMY… YET WE ARE TWO YEARS AWAY FROM A GENERAL ELECTION.
Kenyans should not vote for such kind of leaders.
