The National Assembly proceedings were on Thursday, February 11 temporarily disrupted after Speaker Justin Muturi was informed that Nyali MP Mohammed Ali, popularly known as JichoPevu, had carried a gun to the debating chamber.

Parliament of Kenya operates under particular codes of behavior. But when an MP ‘forgets’ to hand over his gun before sitting in parliament all should be alarmed. Especially when the mp is allied to the agitated, warlike Tangatanga/ hustler movement, there is need to ask, are our MPs safe from their radicalized HUSTLERS?
