REV JAMES OBUNDE TO SUCCEED LATE ARCHIBISHOP BYRUM MAKOKHA AS THE BISHOP OF CHURCH OF GOD IN EAST AFRICA

An announcement has been made at the Mariakani Church of God this Sunday by the area overseer Rev Omamo that the just concluded General Assembly meeting in Kima has annointed Deputy ARCHIBISHOP the Rev James OBUNDE to be the new Archbishop of the church.

Amidst claps and cheers from the large congregation gathered Rev Omamo said all plans are now in place to prepare for the annointing ceremony on 28th March 2021 at the KIMA MISSION of the new Archbishop of the largest organized church in Western Kenya.

The Church has invited both globally reknowned religious and political leaders led by PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA and H.E. Musalia Mudavadi.

The ceremony will be the day of praying for peace and unity in Kenya.
