MOI GIRLS ELDORET ON STRIKE

The girls have not destroyed anything. But they have been screemng and have boycotted classes.

They blame the principal for poor boarding conditions. Dirty toilets, congested dorms, poor meals.

MOI girls ELDORET students accused the principal of embezzlement of school funds, harassing them and also mistreating teachers and support staff. The students further accused the principal of abolishing entertainment and sporting activities.

Interestingly they also condemn the school authorities of CUTTING TREES in the compound ovyo ovyo for personal gain.

Education officials have arrived at the school. The girls are now calm. They have spoken to the press. They want the principal to go.
