WALIMU WAKUWE DIGITAL. TSC

By Amunga Peter

I support. The Mobile phone has changed how we live and do things. TSC cannot be left behind.

That’s why teachers support their employer the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is to launch the digital registration to accurately confirm the number of teachers across the country and generate crucial information on their service delivery.

The details of the new system are contained in a TSC document titled, ‘Biometric Registration of Teachers in Basic Public Education Institutions’. The listing will be expanded to include teachers serving in other public institutions under the TSC.

This is aimed at capturing accurate data on teachers, their expertise and performance.

The registration begins this month in 143 schools in seven counties – Uasin Gishu, Garissa, Kitui, Homa Bay, Bungoma, Nyeri and Kilifi

CONCLUSION

We cannot run way from technology. Teachers must be the first in leading technological advances in Kenya.
On this. TSC is right.
