Raila viciously fights every independent minded forward thinking Luhya. He rabidly fought the late Wamalwa Kijana after the death of his father in 1994. Wamalwa was the undisputed luhya leader then. He fought Orengo who had thrown his weight behind Wamalwa. Fo those who may not remember or know, just exhume the botched then Ford-K elections in Thika officiated by Manases Kuria. Look for the footage of the vicious fight on YouTube. Raila also sent his attack dogs Men-in-Black after Ababu Namwamba at Kasarani when it became apparent Ababu was about to sweep the boards and get elected Secretary General of ODM. YouTube will remind you.

Raila Odinga has established a ruthless hegemony in Luo Nyanza which has emasculated the people there. He wants to emasculate the psyche of the luhya nation the way he has done to Luo Nyanza. He thinks little of the luhya leaders. He wants them to sheepishly follow him without standing shoulder to shoulder with him. That is why the best he can do with Musalia Mudavadi is to make him campaign manager!

To Raila, luhya leaders are errand boys and girls. Only good when they do his bidding but bad when they want to use their intelligence to question things and push for policies that are beneficial to Kenya and the luhya community.

He was uneasy with Wamalwa the late. He was uneasy with MUSALIA WETA ABABU CLEO and looted Mumias. He fought Orengo until Orengo has become his loyal errand boy ready to fight anybody, including splitting the country into two to feed Raila’s megalomaniac ambition to be president of this country.

His father was not that reckless.
