Heavy discussions in the senate and parliament today over BBI. THIS is how our Kakamega senator and others handled it.

Senator Malala: I want to see a day when a maize farmer in Kakamega is treated the same way as a coffee or Potato farmer in Kirinyaga.

Senator Mutula Junior: It’s a fact that there is 2500 km of tarmac roads in Kiambu while Kakamega only has 750 km of tarmac.

Senator Orengo: And its Unfortunate BBI still wants to add Central Kenya more resources and Constituencies while continue to neglect the already neglected. Its a shame.

Senator Malala: kindly mr Wamatangi, today evening when you’re free, ask yourself who is the head of Excecutive, Judiciary, parliamentarian Chair,CDF, Governor of CBK, Attorney General, Solicitor General,Kenyan Ambassador to United States,KRA,DCI, head of Civil servants, state House Comptroller… Where’s equity here 🤔

Samson Chergei: President Uhuru and Suluhu are meeting business people at Serena hotel. From the MC to speakers from the Kenyan side are all Kikuyus.

Oparanya says that it is unfair to award one region with 35 new constituencies while seven regions share the remaining 35 while some regions have none.

Wetangula: this is very unfortunate document brought before the house. I promise you that it will be only document to perish before the time.

Otiende Amolo: “Which wisdom in BBI gives Kiambu County with a Population of 2.4M People 13 New Constituencies but Gives The Entire Nyanza province with a Population of 7.5M only 3 New Constituencies? For that I leave it to God, but I shall not sell and betray my people just to keep my position. I will not let them drink this poison”

MALALA Super Senator Cleophas Malalah: How can you wave coffee debts& not sugar.

We want incentives to be cross board to all farmers & not just a section of the country.

Very bright.
