KCSE RESULTS CANNOT BE RELEASED TODAY COZ GEOGRAPHY PAPER 2 IS STILL BEING MARKED AT THIKA HIGH

By Amunga Peter

Be advised.

KCSE exams will not be released today.

As early this morning, CS Education MAGOHA was
PRESSURIZING EXAMINERS who are marking Geography paper 2 TO COMPLETE MARKING.

In my inbox I have received this text from a DESPARATE KNEC EXAMINER.

“Brother Amunga….hope you good. Kindly address the issue of marking KCSE…..Geography pp2 still on ..amidst pressure from all corners…the vs wants to release the exams……on an examiners table are 499 scripts…..this pressure gonna kill someone.let the cs relax and the professionals do their job with dignity and humane working conditions.Tell me….how effective and accurate marking can be when the said marker wakes up at 3.30am and sleeps at 11pm……Good day.”

EXAMINERS Specifically of KCSE Geography paper 2 need enough time to mark.

Geography paper 2 has lists of literature poorly written by learners who are poor in English. It is also the WORST PAID at 54 shillings per script.

Yet MAGOHA and his OFFICERS at Jogoo and KNEC keep calling and threatening the chief EXAMINER to finish marking or face discipline.

We want to tell MAGOHA that he is NOT a teacher. Teachers are not machines or robots.

We wish to advise EXAMINERS to do their work with utter professionalism. Ignore the big headed Magoha who is rushing you so that he can please his appointing authority.

And if the threats continue.. notify me… NITAPIGA FIRIMBI MARA MOJA.

CONCLUSION

Parents and KENYANS must wait for teachers to do their work. We will NOT ENTERTAIN threats or POLITICAL pressure from Magoha.

Be advised.
