KNUT NEC MEMBERS MUST GO INTO QUARANTINE FOR COVID 19

By Amunga Peter.

The KNUT executive SECRETARY and NEC member for KERICHO, Stanley MUTAI is hospitalized in critical condition after contracting Covid 19 during KNUT CAMPAIGN rallies.

Before admission and placement on oxygen, Mutai attended a six hour NEC MEETING at the KNUT boardroom on Saturday last week.

Fear is that covid 19 is going to spread and kill KNUT Delegates and even school going children if this open in person KNUT campagns and meetings go on.

This is even more serious when we read that schools are starting to close due to covid and that regions in NYANZA and KISUMU may be locked down due to covid.

We cannot take chances with lives of learners and teachers simply because a union wants to have inperson face to face ELECTIONS.

Copied to.

1.EDUCATION CS Magoha

  1. TSC CEO NANCY MACHARIA
  2. HEALTH CS MUTAHI KAGWE.
  3. LABOUR MINISTER
  4. KNUT SG SOSSION.
