2022 POLITICAL CALENDAR BREAKDOWN

-9th September 2021, is the final day for aspirants to conduct fund raising for 2022 campaigns.

-18th October 2021, all parties to present their party proceedings to IEBC in preparation to elections.

  • 9th February 2022, is the date when all public servants aspiring for any seat will leave their offices and write letter of self-dismisal.

-9th June, presidential aspirants to submit their papers to IEBC.

-16th — 22nd April 2022, is when we shall have party preminaries (yaani mchunjo for party tickets).

-1st may 2022 is when campaigns will officially start and run two good months..

MORE UPDATES..

-Presidential aspirants not use more than 5B in campaigns.(IEBC).

-Governor aspirants not use more than 200M in campaigns (IEBC) but also will depend with the region.

-MP aspirants not to use more than 33M in campaigns (IEBC) but will also depend with the region.

-13 months to elections,

  • elections will be held 9th August 2022.
