OYUU SAYS, KNUT WILL NEVER GO ON STRIKE.THAT HE WILL ONLY SWEET TALK TSC. TEACHERS MUST EXPECT MORE MATERNITY LEAVE CBAs!

By Peter Njuna.

The new leadership at KNUT have gotten what they have been yearning for. To be used as beggars and sell teachers in exchange for their stomachs.

Sacrificing teachers blood for their own benefits was the main reason we saw the war targeting John Matiang’i and Wilson Sossion.

It was all well crafted to feed the hungry leaders through TSC, have designed a maternity based CBA that is moniless to teachers but billions for the union in terms of agency fee.

The poorly paid and majority malnourished teachers with low sperm count if any are to enjoy long maternity and paternity leave. With a good number of them stressed, their menses unpredictable, bearing children will have little or no effect to the profession.

A bait was already set and TSC just needed time for the hungry and greedy KNUT officials to be nabbed.

Unions are of no use as we are talking, the suspension of salary award by SRC could have returned teeth to their decaying jaws. They could have rejected any CBA without monetary gain, mobilize their members to industrial action till the govt yield. Though such a scenario happening is rare, it is better to die while fighting rather than spend your lifetime on your knees begging.

The greedy and opportunistic leaders have rushed to sign a non monetary. MATERNITY CBA to satisfy their stomachs..
